Pukulan Basic Training- Make it real and keep it simple

Training partners need to go slow and in control to be safe and stay accurate on the attack lines, but intensity and purpose should be part of your partner training. While training, both trainees must keep distances as close to actual fighting scenarios as practical. Defending a realistic strong initiated attack, countering at proper distances and using tempo to evaluate your skill at knowing distance and timing will highly improve with a good training partner. For example, both partners should follow through on reasonably strong strikes that either land or our countered. This is the best way to improve your skills, and to rid yourself of bad habits while simultaneously re-enforcing good structure, maintaining optimal distance and correct timing. Many 'faked and misleading' martial arts instruction videos are available and look flashy with lots of hand movement and pretentious scenarios. Do Not Be Fooled! In a real fight you will lose if you are not efficient and at your peak performance level!
Wear teeth guards! Use head and groin gear protection as needed to prevent injury and reduce the fear of being hit reaction.
